One summer I took a trip to Bali, Indonesia. While I was there I would talk to the locals and the women would compliment my hair. They'd call it "chantik", which means beautiful. "It's so long", they would say while pointing at my hair. This is something I've heard a lot of my life and instead of just feeling complimented, I'd often wonder, why can't everyone have the hair they want? Is it just genetics? Being a healthy hair fanatic myself, it's easy to see that today's hair products are killing our hair and those same toxic products are being absorbed into our bodies!
